Hit the Gold stiff first. I find myself teeing the ball up much higher than I ever have before, and it seems to be working for me. Although my previous driver was a What worked best for me was the 9. My swing speed puts me right between regular and stiff. I play the XL Tour Spec 9.

I would like a higher ball flight and do not have access to a launch monitor. Honestly I really do think the red shaft is really stiff. Is cleveland hibore xl ffp driver a conforming or non-conforming driver? The ball flies further and more consistantly, and even the mis-hits usually off the toe fly straight and far. There is a raised dot in the H of HiBore on the sole of teh illegal ones. What is encouraging about this club and shaft combo is that the ball rolls out after finally coming down.
