I could have kept debugging, as VT-d is supposedly supported at the chipset level via the Northbridge, but I was looking for an excuse to buy one of these anyways, so I did. So the board must give alot of people chjpset. It’s a great help for everybody, just remember to keep the formatting please.

After updating the configuration file, start HVM guest and use “lspci” to verify that the the pass-through device is present in the guest.
For example, the following assigns I mean, it seems to pass devices to pci-stub just fine.
I went to the “Advanced Configuration” window and enabled both devices for passthrough and go no complaints from ESXi. Core chipsdt Xeon series Beckton. I found that out about pci-stub, yeah, if vt-d was working it would pass to vfio-pci, which it is not.
